On the NBC “Sex in the City” ripoff, Lipstick Jungle, one of the show’s main characters, Nico Reilly, editor-in-chief of top fashion magazine, Bonfire, is having a steamy affair with 25-year-old photographer, Kirby Atwood.

Instead of society condemning their adulterous love affair like society has condemned Eliot Spitzer and Ashley “Kristen” Dupre’s, this relationship is being celebrated. Especially by women forty-years-old and up. Also, judging from the numerous commercials highlighting the May-December affair, adultery is in!!!!
So, the moral of this story is that adultery is in ............. but only if you are an older business woman screwing a hot young boy toy on a bad NBC fictional television show or if you are a legally blind mayor of New York. Basically people cut you some slack.
Adultery is out if you are a balding public official with a wife and three kids screwing a young $1,000 dollar an hour female hooker with a bad song on her MySpace page. Basically people cut you no slack.
